We've often heard the old sayings "history repeats itself" and "we
learn from our mistakes." Obviously one of these statements is true
and the other appears to be quite false. Throughout history we have
unfairly singled out groups of people due to their race, religion or
color and proceeded to persecute them. Quite often such activities led
to the deaths of innocent men, women and even children. Fortunately,
signs of intelligent life emerged and discrimination laws were
implemented. These laws not only still prevail today but they have
become stronger than ever. The message is clear that ignorance and
hate will not be tolerated and violators will be punished. Over the last forty years we have made tremendous progress by enacting laws to protect the victims who were / are being discriminated against and punish the guilty parties. Instead of trying to eliminate entire breeds of dogs perhaps we should punish the bad humans instead of the innocent animals and the responsible people who love them. Stop Breed Specific Legislation. We thank you for your support.

Vaccine Reactions - Neurologic Symptoms Neurologic symptoms are the most common vaccine reaction seen in dogs. Canine distemper vaccination is the most common cause of neurologic disease, and can cause an inflammation of the brain. Measles vaccine in puppies has been reported to rarely cause damage to the nervous system. Cerebellar disease has been reported in puppies and kittens less than 5 weeks of age who were vaccinated with a modified live vaccine.
